Like the rest of the collecting world, we LOVE MS68 Morgans. We buy them when we can (assuming they are real MS68’s). So when we see a colored coin like this-we just buy it!
While not godzilla rainbow bag toned, it does have fabulous blazing colors. First, we must tell you the technical quality is all there and then some. Even with a strong glass you won’t find ANY hits or giggles. An intense booming luster makes this coin incredibly lively and visible. The obverse has beautiful ORIGINAL moderate colors of forest green/blue/gold/pale violet that vividly swirl all over. The reverse is a natural creamy white. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and do stand out. The eye appeal is eye popping gorgeous!
PCGS 104, NGC 216, CAC 52. The last PCGS/CAC MS68 81S Morgan sold for $5,875.00 10/2012 Heritage. Its hard to find this date beaned-and its even rarer to find ANY MS68 with beautiful colors like this!
