What a cool 211 year old coin! Its definitely an ORIGINAL GEM XF!
There are NO problems visible-even when using a strong glass. The surfaces are smooth and actually do emit a light luster. Both sides are a deeper ORIGINAL pewter/gray color. There is NO dark patches on the high points. Miss Liberty and the details are actually well struck. This coin is the way you’d want a top XF to be! The eye appeal is fabulous!
PCGS 15, NGC 12, CAC 7. The last one to appear in major auction brought only $9,775.00. We paid more for this and have been offered more by a major WHOLESALE dealer! Prior to that coin selling, you could find one prior to 2009-and then they were $11,000.00-$12,000.00. Our price certainly is within reason. Just wait until you see the coin!
