In the good old raw coin days, this coin would have easily been graded GEM PR 65. Now, with pinpoint accuracy, its just a superb borderline PR65 (we graded it 64.8+)!
This coin is super clean and smooth looking. The mirrors are strong, ultra clean, and have bold reflectivity. A mellow lix of totally ORIGINAL “old time” colors of pewter/pale navy/golden brown/purple/pale violet swirl all over. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and do have light frost. The eye appeal is wonderful!
PCGS 125, NGC 152, CAC 14. PCGS has only graded 2 in PR64+! This coin is totally fresh to the market. An NGC PR64+CAC sold for $5,175.00 in auction 07/2012 Heritage. A PR65 would run you close to $10,000.00. This coin isn’t so far off!
