We adore this piece. Even we resubmitted it seeking an MS66! Ok, great that PCGS is holding tough, but this coin is a 65.8+ and is better than a few MS66’s we have seen!
An intense and full booming luster beams from all over. The surfaces are exceptionally clean-what you see is small thin die polishing lines. If you tilt the coin right, you can actually see traces of semi-proof like mirrors. Both sides are a bold blazing white. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally well struck. This is far superior to the average 27S-especially via strike. The eye appeal is incredible!
PCGS 61, NGC 36, CAC 10. This is the ONLY PCGS MS65+ graded. It has NEVER been in any auction. Keep in mind, and MS66 would cost you at least $30,000.00 if it looked like this.
