3CS 1873 PCGS PR66

Having built the all time FINEST EVER 3CS Proof set, we know how these do and do not come. This date can come nice-but they don’t come killer nice and ULTRA high end like this coin!

At one time this coin was an NGC PR67 (no tag available). We have resubmitted at least twice-not even a +. We do not know why PCGS seems to have it out for not grading this coin better then a 66. We do very much grade it a PR66+. The mirrors are super clean, deep, crystal clear and have bold reflectivity. A gorgeous totally ORIGINAL mix of forest green/gold/rose/violet/blue colors all swirl together vividly. Every detail is pinpoint sharp in struck and has generous frost. The eye appeal is heartpounding gorgeous!

This is a PR ONLY date with just 600 minted. PCGS 10, NGC 26, CAC 13 (this coin is at least 2-3 CAC’s and PCGS certs). The last one to sell in a major auction brought $4,700.00 01/2013 Heritage. Keep in mind, a PR67 WILL cost at least $12,500.00-if you can even find one. We promise, if you are super picky and want a really colorful 1873 3CS, this coin will NOT disappoint you!
