Without a doubt, this is the FINEST WA 10C on the planet. There is a MS68, but it lacks the color or eye appeal to be close to this monster. How this coin even survived for 139 years in such a remarkable condition makes this a true “wonder GEM”!
Remarkable surfaces are the epitome of perfection all over. They are super satiny and beam with a strong luster. Both sides are a mix of ORIGINAL frosty white with bursts of vibrant navy/magenta/gold from around the rim areas. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and have pinpoint sharp strikes. Your eye balls will pop out and your jaw will drop and lock when they see this spectacular GEM!
THIS IS A PCGS POP 1 AND A CAC POP 1 (in MS68+). There is no such thing as an equal or finer coin (This was the NGC MS69)! In a major auction a coin like this would sell for a crazy number. Fortunately, this is not an auction.
