Funny how the + thing works (or in this case does not work). We rank this coin easily in the top 5% for the grade. it is as nice of a 1891 as you will ever see. we think its equal to the + we sold months ago.
Superb surfaces are slightly semi prooflilke and radiate with an intense full booming luster. There are a few light lines-but NO marks or real problems visible anywhere. Both sides are a fresh frosty white (this is NOT a dipped out coin). Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and have thick frost. Her cheek clearly is ORIGINAL and has never been messed with. The eye appeal is tremendous!
PCGS 122, NGC 127, CAC 58. The last PCGS/CAC 1891 to sell in auction was back in 2010-when one sold for $7,187.00. We’ll bet it does not look anything like this and that’s 3 years ago! The MS65+ was worth $15,000.00. Opportunity knock loud here!
