Even though we were probably the biggest buyers at the Dukor sale, we accidentally let a few slip by. We were on the hunt for the bigger trophy coins. This certainly was one coin we wanted to buy. It is the FINEST 1915 graded, and deservedly so!
A full booming headlight luster can be seen from across the room. We do not typically see 1915s with this much flash. The surfaces are clean and only have a few microscopic ticks scattered about. Totally ORIGINAL pale reddish gold colors cover the surfaces. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck and have light frost. The eye appeal is breathtaking, just like this coin’s quality!
PCGS 40, NGC 39, CAC 8. This is the ONLY MS66+ graded. This coin last sold for $51,406.00 in the 4/13 CSNS Sale. You’re just not going to find true quality better gold like this anymore. We can’t stress enough how loud opportunity knocks here.
