The luster is mind-blowing intense. You can search all your numismatic career and never find another 1830 so wild. This coin has generous portions of GEM Mint Red around the devices. The surfaces are ridiculously perfect and smooth. There is a really cool die break through the stars. Both sides are a totally ORIGINAL Mint RD/chocolate brown color. There are NO spots or stains. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and have delicate frost. Your eyes will pop out and roll when they see this monster.

PCGS 3, NGC 1, CAC 2. Forget about when this coin was sold at Naftzger-they were given away (ask anyone there) as the auction took place at the very wrong time and then the internet broke. We think a coin like this should be worth multiples more. There are so few that exist that are even remotely close in quality. the Naftzger Collection absolutely contained the FINEST MS Large cents.
