To start both sides are fully prooflike and explode with a booming luster as well. A few super teenie and super light ticks are scattered about and can only be seen with a glass. The color is a GEMMY ORIGINAL orange gold. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are thickly frosted a bright gold and have sharp strikes. The eye appeal is so stunning your jaw will drop and lock!

ONLY 801 pieces were ever minted-for circulation. PCGS 10, NGC 4, CAC 2. PCGS claims 5 higher-no auction records, never seen one. No PCGS/CAC coin has ever been sold in auction. In fact the last 1885 MS65 to sell in auction was SIX years ago-3/2007! And that coin brought $27,600.00. We think these should be at least worth $50,000.00!
