$20 1865S PCGS MS64 BROTHER JONATHAN PCGS MS64

$19,500.00

LOVE this GEM! Its definitely SUPER HIGH END. Hard to believe this coin sat on the ocean floor for a 100+ years!

Only a few super light cuff/frost breaks (and a teenie tick) keep this coin from being a full MS65. To the naked eye it does look clean and satiny smooth overall. The luster is surprisingly strong. Both sides have that gorgeous bold yellow gold color in the centers with highlights of orange by the rims. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have exceptional strikes. On the reverse there is an interesting group of die cracks by the lower rims (we have not noticed them on other coins). The eye appeal is fantastic!

PCGS 128, NGC 57, CAC 17 (CAC has beaned only ONE coin higher). This is an ORIGINAL “Bro Jo” coin. It has the ship on the label as well as the coin number (hidden by the bean). This is not a re stripped or upgraded coin. The last one to sell in major auction was a NON CAC piece. It brought $17,825.00 9/12 Goldberg. Opportunity can’t knock any louder if you want a real and rare treasure Ship coin!

Legend Numismatics is a major market maker for these when they have the ORIGINAL PCGS labels. We have NOT owned an MS64 since early 2011!
