$1 1875 S/CC PCGS MS64

Legend Numismatics built the FINEST EVER MS Trade Dollar set for a very picky collector. We looked at virtually EVERY rare TD that exists to get there. We know what these coins SHOULD look like. Unhesitatingly we pronounce this piece a VERY HIGH END coin that is a borderline MS65!

From across the room you can see this coins impressive full booming luster. The surfaces show just a few very teenie light ticks scattered about (remember it is a big coin). Nothing catches your eye. There is a thin band of deeper golden brown hugging the obverse rims. The balance of the surfaces are a crispy creamy ORIGINAL white/pale gold. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and have bold strikes. The S/CC is clear-you do not need a glass to see the right C. The overall eye appeal is spectacular!

PCGS 5, NGC 4, CAC 1. There is only ONE coin graded higher by PCGS-the MS65 that’s in our all time FINEST set. NO MS64 CAC has ever sold in auction. In fact the last NON CAC to sell was FIVE years ago in 2008. That coin brought $27,600.00 1/08 Heritage. We can’t stress enough the extreme rarity of this magnificent coin!
