$1 LAFAYETTE PCGS MS65

We nicknamed this coin “blue thunder”. It has a thunderous eye appeal. It is also VERY high end in quality. In fact, we did try it for a 65+/66 but PCGS was not participating that day.

A screaming full booming headlight luster greets you from yards away. It shows off seriously clean and smooth surfaces. rarely do we ever see these this clean. No question this beast was carefully stored and not touched. Killer colors of pale amber/blue/purple swirl all over. Picasso would be jealous! This is NOT a dark or drab coin. ALL of the details are boldly struck. The eye appeal does rank up there with killer Lafayette. Any color lover or super picky commem buyer will be more than mesmerized by this coin.

PCGS 260, NGC 194, CAC 39. The last PCGS CAC MS65 to sell in major auction brought $9,200.00 10/2011 Heritage. That price is now old, we paid more than that to enjoy owning this incredible GEM!
