Only a small lint mark or two keep this coin from being a PR66 Cameo. There is a tremendous amount of flash/sparkle from the mirrors. They are really deep, have tremendous clarity, are clean, and have bold reflectivity. A light band of reddish gold frames the rims only. The centers are a crisp silvery white. ALL of the details are boldly frosted and have sharp strikes. The eye appeal is fantastic!
ONLY 960 were minted. PCGS 7, NGC 6, CAC 3. The last 1871 PCGS 65 CA to sell at auction was a NON CAC. It brought $2,875.00 3/12 Stacks. Opportunity knocks loud here!
