People under estimate this date. Typically, they do not come very nice for whatever reason. We knew we had to buy this coin when we saw it!
Unusually deep, clear, clean, and highly reflective mirrors dominate both sides. There are more lines on the holder than the coin. A beautiful and totally ORIGINAL mix of tangerine/pale violet is semi circled by some electric blue on the obverse. The reverse has some lighter muted colors on the peripheries. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and have light frost. The eye appeal is super fabulous!
ONLY 600 pieces were ever minted. PCGS 3, NGC 8, CAC 1 (we believe this coin is represented 2x). In PR66+ this is the ONLY coin graded by PCGS. The ONLY coin higher is a PCGS PR67+. Originally, the very first time in over 50 years when this coin was sold at auction, it bought $5,750.00 11/2011 Stacks. If you collect colored Seated Dimes, then this coin is a must see!
