This piece is an R-6 (13-31 minted). It is a copper Morgan Dime designed by Barber. PCGS did it no favors grading it only a PR66!
We purchased this coin from the fresh estate of a dealer (along w/the J-48). Its been off the market for 30+ years. The coins freshness and quality are unrivaled!
Both sides have out of this world mirrors. They are crystal clear, have ZERO imperfections, and offer amazing reflectivity. The color is a 100% ORIGINAL GEM BRILLIANT MINT RED! We have not seen another coin like it. Typically these (this design Type) come more dull red to RB. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and do clearly have thick creamy frost. Your eye balls will jump out when they see this mind boggling GEM!
PCGS 1, NGC 1, CAC 1. According to the Judd Book, an NGC PR66RD sold for $7,475.00 back in 2008. We doubt any others out there look as wild or are as ULTRA HIGH END as this coin does! If you seek one for a Type set or a major Pattern collection, this coin will be your superstar!
