This coin is so nice it will scare you (its such a monster)! We never ever see 1882O’s as nice! It looks more like an 82S, then an 82O.
An impressive full boom cartwheel type luster can be seen from a distance. The surfaces are remarkably clean and have traces of semi-prooflike mirrors. Of course this is a snowy white coin. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and have sharp strikes. The eye appeal is phenomenal!
PCGS 21, NGC 12, CAC 5. The last one of these to sell in major auction brought $11,500.00 in 1/2011! These just are NOT around.
