This is an R-7 (4-12 minted) Copper Pattern. The design is the exceedingly popular Morgan Dime.
The quality of this coin is all there. And there is No question about the ORIGINALITY.
Strong mirrors do have some toning dots and a teenie fleck or two scattered about. They are clean and do have good reflectivity. The color is a totally ORIGINAL red brown (or which 75% is GEM faded Mint Red). Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have full strikes. The eye appeal is fantastic!
PCGS 1, NGC 1, CAC 2 (BOTH beans are for this coin). PCGS has graded at least one coin higher. In 06/2011 the NGC coin sold for $11,500.00. The Judd book values these at $20,000.00. No way is this coin even remotely close to being over valued.
