We certainly do not see many nice Civil War era Proofs anymore. Typically, they come dark and crusty. This coin has life, color, and is a real GEM Proof 65!
Super flashy mirrors are clean, sleek, clear, and have bold reflectivity. Even with a strong glass we did not see any minor imperfections. A beautiful color mix of ORIGINAL blue rims/tangerine/violet/gold centers covers both sides. Miss Liberty and the details are thickly frosted and have light color over them. The features are also sharply struck. The revers is full 66 quality. You’ll love this coins flashy and colorful eye appeal!
