5C 1880 PCGS MS63

Earlier this year, we purchased the PCGS MS65 and sold it immediately. We were surprised how many people are interested in this “holy grail” of Nickels date. So when we saw this coin and were impressed by its SUPER HIGH END QUALITY, we knew we had to own it! You’ll feel the same after seeing it!

If all MS63 coins looked like this, they’d sell for far more money. To the naked eye, this coin if fabulously clean and smooth. Under a glass, all you can see are very light and scattered abrasions and lines. A full booming luster beams from all over. Light ORIGINAL colors of Nickel/pale purple/pale blue/gold cover all the surfaces. All of the details are exceptionally struck. The eye appeal is great and really is of a higher grade piece!

The die breaks and other characteristics for this to be a TRUE MS piece are all there.

PCGS 4, NGC 3, CAC 1. There has never been a PCGS MS63 in auction. The last PCGS MS64 (NON CAC) sold for $54,625.00 07/2011 Heritage. The pricing guides on this coin are incorrect and CDN is just plain incompetent. Also, we feel strongly the pops are are wrong and there probably are one or two coins listed that are not really MS. Regardless, this particular coin is a FULL NO QUESTION MS. Opportunity knocks as loud as ever here!
