Stunning ultra deep, crystal clear, super clean, and highly reflective mirrors cover all the surfaces. Tilting the coin just a little makes the mirrors look like freshly formed ice. There is a hint of faint gold by the rims only. The contrast is deep enough the mirrors DO appear “black” (that’s a positive term). Miss Liberty and the details are needle sharp in strike and do have thick white frost. The eye appeal is tremendous!
ONLY 792 piece were struck. PCGS 2, NGC 1, CAC 1. This piece has never appeared in auction (at least as a CAC coin) that we know of. Today, flashy PR66 Cameos are bringing $7,000.00 in auction. Either of the 2 PR67 DC’s would cost you at least $15,000.00 and they are NOT CAC’d. Opportunity knocks loud here!
