As many of know, Washington Carvers are one of the toughest coins to love. This coin not only is loveable, but its friggen beautiful!
Had this been a PCGS MS67, we would not have flinched. This coin has remarkable cleanliness. Even with a strong glass the fields show nothing but perfection. A full booming luster shows off the sharply struck details. There is practically no softness. A beautiful (and ORIGINAL) reddish gold color frames the rims. The eye appeal is incredible!
Only 8000 were ever minted. PCGS 110, NGC 136, CAC 35. PCGS has graded only 4 coins MS66+. In MS67 These sell for $6,000.00+-if you can find one of the 5 that’s CAC’d. This is a great coin for a Commem Type set or major collection!
