$3 1860 PCGS AU58

Hard to believe this frosty AU piece has lasted for over 152 year as with no major impairments!

Only light lines and a teenie weenie tick or two can be found when using a really strong glass. To the naked eye this coin is clean. A booming luster shows off beautiful bright yellow gold colors. There are NO spots. Miss Liberty and the details have strong frosting and are well struck. The wear is well hidden and very faint. The eye appeal is great!

Whats neat is the tremendous rarities you can buy for way UNDER $10,000.00 in AU (like the 1881+1885 pieces with mintage of 500+800). Even a date like this 1860 is much tougher than the pops indicate-but we generally see one or two each year. Opportunity couldn’t know any louder!
