10C 1862 PCGS PR64

This is a pleasing sparkling solid PR64 piece.

Only with a strong glass can you see a few MINOR imperfections and some light lines. To the naked eye, the mirrors are glassy, clear, they do appear clean, and of course have bold reflectivity. Both sides are evenly bathed in a rich mix of ORIGINAL olive/deep forest green/pale violet colors. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have full strikes. The eye appeal is excellent!

ONLY 550 pieces were ever minted. PCGS 36, NGC 44, CAC 9. The last one of these appear in major auction brought $863.00 08/11 Stacks. We did pay a little more for this one.
