PCGS had that magical + button on the day this coin was graded. No question it is a VERY high end MS65 that knocks on 66 door!
Only with a really strong glass can you see a scattered teenie tick or two. There are NO major marks or lines. The surfaces are smooth and do emit a strong luster. A totally ORIGINAL mist of pale gold evenly is sprinkled on both sides. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have extra sharp strikes. The eye appeal is fantastic!
PCGS 4, NGC 13, CAC 2 (ALL). This is the ONLY + graded by PCGS. They have graded 5 MS66’s and 2 MS67’s. This coin last sold in auction back in 09/10 Heritage. For whatever reason, the market seem to want to offer a sale on it. Back then it sold for $5,175.00. Opportunity can’t knock any louder for you to own a great 172 year old coin!
