This piece borders on being a WONDER GEM! We do grade it MS66.9+. It is from the #1 set we are exclusively building. We just replaced this GEM with get this-the mind boggling MS68!!! We used to own the 68 years ago and always felt it belonged in this set (which has a 93S PCGS MS67 CAC as its key)!
Much to our surprise, this coin really looks more like an 80S. Super sleek yet slightly satiny field have NO imperfections of any size anywhere. A full booming luster shows off the beautiful ORIGINAL snowy white color. Miss Liberty and the details are heavily frosted and have full strikes. The eye appeal is stunning!
PCGS 65, NGC 11, CAC 8. This is the ONLY MS66+ graded by PCGS. PCGS has graded 2 in MS67 and of course the MS68. The last MS67 that sold (a NON CAC piece) brought $27,600.00. If you are building a high grade Morgan Set or just love great better Morgans, then check this coin out!
