$3 1862 PCGS AU58

We love this coin! As soon as we saw it, we knew we had to own it. It is all there and then some quality wise!

This is NOT a dipped or messed with coin. The surfaces do show light striations-but those are from polishing at the Mint. Overall, the surfaces are quite clean. A surprisingly strong luster beams from all over. The color is a rich ORIGINAL yellow gold. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have sharp strikes. The eye appeal is outrageous!

Only 5750 were ever minted. PCGS 24, NGC 49, CAC 4. The last one of these to sell in major auction was a PCGS NON CAC piece. It brought $6,325.00 in 2003 Heritage!!!! We did not realize we have NEVER handled an AU58 PCGS piece. These are MUCH rarer than the pops hint. Definitely what we call a “silent stopper”. Opportunity knocks loud here!
