We are pleased to once again own and offer one of the rarest Bust Dollars on earth-this gorgeous 1798 Small Eagle. It is one of the finest known.

To start, the wear on this coin is light and is well hidden. Overall, the surfaces appear clean. There are some hints of luster. A fabulous ring of royal blue frames the peripheries on both sides and opens into pale gold/pewter centers. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck. Keep in mind, this date usually comes looking HORRIBLE! the eye appeal is spectacular!

PCGS 3, NGC 1, CAC 3. VIP: we believe this coin is all 3 of the CAC beans as we had resubmitted for imaging more than once. There is one MS61 graded by PCGS and that’s it. We have always felt this coin is the FINEST SE in existence. This is the same coin that sold for $356,000.00 in the Goldberg auction 05/2011.
