Finally a fresh glittering SUPERB GEM we like! We definitely do not see many of these in any grade.
Impressive deep, clear, clean, and highly reflective mirrors highlight both sides. They resemble a fresh sheet of glass. Both sides are evenly covered by a navy/purple/deep tangerine ORIGINAL color mix. Miss Liberty and the details are pinpoint sharp in strike and have light frost. The eye appeal is exceptional!
ONLY 700 pieces were minted of this 2 year Type coin. PCGS 4, NGC 6, CAC 3. PCGS and NGC each have graded 2 coins higher. Its been 4+ years since a PCGS PR66 (NON CAC of course) sold in auction. In 08/2007 in Stacks, one brought $21,850.00. Still, after 25+ years of grading the entire 66 pop by PCGS is a mere 4 coins? That’s nothing!
