1C 1922 NO D PCGS MS63BN STRONG REVERSE

$34,500.00

WOW WEE! We grade this coin MS63+BN. This is an amazing coin for just an MS63BN!

Using a strong glass, you can NOT find any significant hits, scrapes, or problems. The surfaces seem to have a very slight roughness-but that’s the planchet quality. A surprising luster shows off moderate chocolate brown color. Mint red color is visible surrounding the devices. The lower right obverse has some golden brown speckled light toning. The reverse is borderline MS64RB. Lincoln and all of the details are sharply struck. This is a totally genuine and really NICE looking 1922 NO D.

PCGS 9, NGC 10, CAC 3. PCGS has graded only 5 coins higher (only ONE so far is CAC). The last one of these to appear in major public auction was a NON CAC piece. It brought $29,900.00 05/2009 Heritage. The next step up (if you could buy the lone PCGS/CAC coin is worth at least $50,000.00+). Dates like this have tight spreads for some reason. Regardless, opportunity knocks loud for someone who collects Lincoln cents or wants a real “key” coin.
