This coin was love at first sight! It is a lock PR65 every time!
Surprisingly deep and flashy mirrors do appear clean over all. Only when using a strong glass can you see some teenie scattered “dead” flecks (NOT SPOTS or stains) by the rims (which also prove the coins ORIGINALITY). The color is a beautiful gold/pale copper/pale red. Every detail is needles sharp in strike and has lots of frost. The eye appeal is really pretty!
PCGS 48, NGC 31, CAC 6. The last PCGS PR65 CAC coin to sell in a major auction brought $37,375.00 04/2011 Heritage. These are not as easy to find as you think. The last one we handled in PR65 (we did sell the PR67 this year for $250,000.00) was back in early 2009. Can’t find them nice!
