If your into flashy rainbow like coins, this piece is NOT for you. The originality look is from the moderate layer of “old time” toning that covers both sides. The surfaces are clearly visible and are both clean and have a surprising luster. Even more impressive, Miss Liberty and the details are very well struck. You need a strong glass to see any wear. There are no discolorations on the high points. The overall eye appeal is great!
PCGS 8, NGC 20, CAC 1. There is an auction record for a NON CAC piece that sold in 05/11 Goldberg for $17,825.00. Classic rarities like this are not surfacing much anymore.
