1C 1814 PCGS AU58 PLAIN 4

This is not just a GEM AU, its is a real SUPERB GEM AU!

There is no real wear visible. In fact, after studying it, we really can’t see why PCGS only designated it an AU58. The weakness in a few stars seems to be “as stuck”. Overall, the surfaces are amazingly clean (even with a powerful glass) and are smooth. There actually is a decent luster. The color is a rich ORIGINAL chocolate brown with hints of pale blue. There are NO Spots. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck. The eye appeal is phenomenal-especially for a coin from 1814!

PCGS 7, NGC 6, CAC 1. The last one to sell in major auction was a NON CAC piece. It brought $4,313.00 1/2009 Heritage. We cannot stress enough the superior quality of this piece. Even if you are a super picky collector, you will NOT be disappointed here!
