When we first saw this outstanding GEM, we had to have it! We just do not see great quality like this on early Walkers!
First, using a strong glass, we can find NO impairments of any size, anywhere. Even the dreaded right field, is clean and has a slight satiny texture. A super strong cartwheel type luster beams from all over. A light hint of ORIGINAL gold swirls around, but the coin does appear mostly white. It is NOT a dipped out special. Miss Liberty and the details are lightly frosted and have exceptional strikes. The eye appeal is terrific!
PCGS 18, NGC 11, CAC 3. This coin is housed in a older green tag holder. Recently, in the September Goldberg auction, a similar coin sold for $15,525.00. Opportunity knocks loud here!
