When we first saw this GEM we couldn’t believe our eyes. This is a virtually perfect specimen. Think about it-thats 162 years with out being touched or messed with. Monster impressive!
Shimmering semi prooflike mirrors cover surfaces that are also intensely lustrous. There are hardly any marks visible-even with a strong glass. The color combo is a rich but very vibrant totally ORIGINAL navy/brown/royal blue/gold mix. Miss Liberty and the details are absolutely needle sharp in strike. The eye appeal is sensational!
PCGS 4, NGC 6, CAC 3 (CAC has NONE higher). PCGS has graded only 2 coins higher. A different PCGS/CAC specimen sold in auction for $14,950.00 11/10 B+M. We can’t stress enough the exceptional rarity ANY GEM MS65 Half from the 1850’s offers. Opportunity can’t knock any louder here!
