10C 1828 PCGS MS64 SMALL DATE

We just bought this coin back from a collector who we sold it to years ago. We never see this date being offered. The coin definitely is ORIGINAL and is pleasing.

Even moderate to deeper pewter/pale navy/pal golden brown toning does not hide the hints of prooflike mirrors the fields offer. Only under a strong glass can see any ticks (which are widely scattered and very minor). Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck and do stand out. The eye appeal is quite pleasing. This is NOT a dull coin!

PCGS 4, NGC 5, CAC 1 (none higher by CAC). PCGS has graded 5 coins higher (including an MS67). Still, we can not tell you enough how rare and underrated this date and grade are.
