$1 1844 PCGS MS64 STERLING-LEGEND

Extremely rare! This is a VERY HIGH END coin!

We do rank this coin in the top 5% of the grade as a MS64 (we grade it a 64+ easily). The surfaces do a have few microscopic ticks, but appear nearly perfect and smooth. A surprisingly strong luster enhances true “old time” colors of pewter/pale blue/pale champagne that’s even on both sides. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and do stand out. The eye appeal is really fantastic!

PCGS 1, NGC 1, CAC 1. The ONLY coin finer is in our old complete FINEST EVER MS set and is locked up for a very long time. This coin is the FINEST that will be available for a very long time (unless a piece drops from the heavens)! We think its ridiculous and possibly incompetent for the CDN to publish ANY price for this coin when NONE have traded in any auction or in recent memory. Even the Collectors Universe price is wrong. Regardless, you can offer to buy another PCGS/CAC specimen for $100,000.00-and you will keep your money! PCGS having been through 25+ years of operations and millions of coins, if there is still only ONE, that is a VERY powerful statement!
