$3 1888 PCGS PR65

We just have NO luck with PCGS. We did resubmit this SUPER HIGH END GEM for a + and /or a Cameo designation. As you can see we did real well-NOT!

Absolute GEM mirrors are super clean, have amazing clarity, and are incredibly reflective. Using a powerful glass, the most you can find is a singular stray line or two. There are NO spots or discolorations. The color is a totally original medium orange gold. Miss Liberty and the details are pinpoint sharp in strike. They do have thick orange frost. The eye appeal is tremendous!

291 pieces were minted. PCGS 25, NGC 2, CAC 2. Do not let the pops or mintage fool you. This is still a very tough coin to find. The last one that sold in major auction was a non CAC that brought $25,300.00 in 2009. Good luck on finding a similar piece (Proof gold just is not available in GEM).
