$2.5 1911D PCGS MS65

A coin more than worthy of being our lone spectacular NEWP (this week)! This coin is VERY high end in quality!

We easily rank this coin the top 2% for ALL MS65 11D’s. Our good friend and unquestionably authority on a coin like this told us its one of the best he has ever seen for a 65.

Not a single mark is visible anywhere. The right reverse is exceptionally clean in the field (which is notoriously banged up). The surfaces are smooth and have a semi satiny texture. Both sides have gorgeous original moderate orange gold colors. There are NO spots or stains. The luster is really strong and shows off light frosted and sharply struck features. The eye appeal is awesome!

PCGS 16 (w/only 3 higher), NGC 78, CAC 5 (CAC has graded none higher). The last NON CAC coin to sell in major auction brought 74,750.00 in 09/2008 Goldberg. These just to do NOT appepar with any frequency.
