J-1004 $1 1870 PCGS PR65RB DENALI

$15,000.00

This is a R-7 (4-12 minted) Silver dollar stuck in copper. The reverse is the regular design. We call it high end and mostly Mint Red!

What can we say? When you see it you will be blown away by its complete unquestionable ORIGINALITY. The mirrors are deep, clear, super clean, and of course fully reflective. The GEM Mint Red color is only slight faded and portions of soft brown/purple do not really stand out or take away from the red. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have full strikes. The eye appeal is fabulous!

PCGS 1, NGC 0, CAC 1. Yet again, only the Simpson specimen is finer. There are NO auction records for any in a decade. In fact all we could find ia a PR64RB sold back in 2004. The Judd book values these at $12,000.00 in PR65. We can not stress enough how exceedingly rare and UNDERvalued we feel this date and grade are. You can buy it for not much more than a regular 1870 PCGS PR65 Cameo sells for today. What a bargain!
