True to its label, this coin is a VERY high end GEM Cameo. The mirrors are super deep, have amazing crystal clear clarity, have NO imperfections anywhere, and of course have killer reflectivity. Both sides are a complete ORIGINAL GEM Mint Red color. There are NO spots. Every detail is needle sharp in strike and has bold reddish gold frost. The eye appeal is a total WOW!
Only 600 pieces were ever minted. PCGS 3, NGC 0, CAC 1. Hard to believe but PCGS has graded 4 coins higher in cameo (we know three of them are locked away in collections). The last one to sell in major auction was back in 2004! Even if you are not building a 2C Proof set, this coin would make one heck of a Type coin.
