$2.5 1910 PCGS PR66

We LOVE Roman finish PR Gold like this. Sadly, they are so rare we have not handled a PR66 since 2006. This piece definitely was worth waiting for!

We all know how famously tough PCGS is on how it grades these. Between them and CAC beaning the coin, you know this is not a low end or messed with specimen.

Both sides are amazingly pristine and smooth. That means NO lines or ticks on the right top reverse. The satiny texture of the matting is clearly visible. There are NO shiny areas or spots. A strong luster shows off the deeper yellow gold color. ALL of the details are fully struck. The eye appeal is beautiful!

Only 682 pieces were ever minted-a number experts universally agree is incorrect (it is believed maybe 100 or so survive). PCGS 5, NGC 29, CAC 3. PCGS has only graded ONE coin finer. The last one to appear and sell in major public auction brought $48,875.00 11/2006 Heritage (think about that-its been 5 years since one has auctioned).

We can not stress enough the great rarity and opportunity this coin offers.
