We do NOT see VERY high end coins like this often. $5 Indians are one of the toughest coins to find in true GEM!
Both sides are remarkably clean, smooth, and ORIGINAL. It looks like this GEM was never touched since 1908. A strong luster also shows off a pretty even deep yellow gold color. There are NO spots or stains. ALL of the details are frosty and have bold sharp strikes. The eye appeal is really exceptional!
PCGS 197, NGC 144, CAC 26. The last one of these to sell in a major auction brought $14,375.00 for a NON CAC coin back in 03/2010 B+M. Prior to that in 2009, these were selling for $14,950.00.
