Totally ORIGINAL and lively MINT RED color beams from both sides. The luster is intense. This is NOT that dull muted deep red. Some very light toning is mixed in the color. The surfaces are exceptionally clean. There is a teenie toning dot at 7:00 on the obverse-you need a glass to see it. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have full strikes. The eye appeal is tremendous!
We do not agree with the pops (we’re pretty sure this coin has been resubmitted several times): PCGS 30, NGC 8, CAC 4. A VERY rare and UNDERvalued GEM!
