This is a R-5 (31-76 struck). Its also an Indian lovers fantasy coin (the design is called Indian Princess head)! The coin is struck in aluminum.
Struck on a pretty much problem free planchet, the surfaces appear smooth. The mirrors are extremely deep, clear, clean, and have powerful reflectivity (and look liquid). All of the details are needle sharp in strike and have an aluminum thick frost. The eye appeal is totally spectacular!
PCGS 1, NGC 0, CAC 1. PCGS has graded 2 coins higher. The last PCGS coin to sell in a major auction was back in 2006. Back then the coin sold for $4,300.00. Today the Judd books lists these at $7,500.00 in PR65. We know this coin is fairly priced!
