J- 910 1870 25C PCGS PR65 CAMEO DENALI

$13,500.00

This is a high R7 (4-6 struck). It is a die trial of a Standard Silver pattern struck in aluminum.

We do consider this coin to be high end. Its just not knocking PR66 door. Both sides are clean overall to the naked eye. Under strong glass you detect a planchet flake or two and a few lines. There is a very faint hint of haze, but you can call the mirrors clear. They are deep and have strong reflectivity. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally frosted with a thick creamy layer. ALL of the details are needle sharp in strike. The eye appeal is fantastic!

PCGS 1, NGC 0, CAC 1. The only auction record to be found was a coin back in 2000 (Goldberg) that sold for $2,760.00. We doubt it was this coin. The Judd book values J-910 in PR65 at $8,500.00. And that is NOT for a Cameo. We believe this unquestionable rarity is worth at least $15,000.00.
