This is a R7 (4-12 minted). It is a die trial struck in copper. The quality is VERY high end!
Shimmering mirrors are deep, crystal clear, clean, and have vivid reflectivity. Even using a strong glass, we really cannot find any reason this coin is not a PR66 (that is NO guarantee). Both sides have a gorgeous even brown/blue/violet color mix that is unquestionably totally ORIGINAL. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have full strikes. The eye appeal is fabulous!
PCGS 1, NGC 0, CAC 1. There are NO auction records for any PR65’s. The Judd book values a PR65 at $9,200.00. Keep in mind, this is NOT your average coin-it really is VERY high end!
