This is a high R7 (4-6 minted). It is struck in copper. The colors are phenomenal!
Bright and super flashy mirrors reveal only some light lines on the reverse if you use a powerful glass. both sides have a killer color mix of violet/blue/olive colors that swirl boldly. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and boldly stand out. The eye appeal is as we have been saying: PHENOMENAL!
PCGS 2, NGC 0, CAC 0. There are NO auction records for this date. According to the Judd book, the last time one of these traded was back in 1977! In PR63 the Judd book values one at $6,900.00 and in PR65 $12,000.00. We know this coin is priced really right even with out those numbers. Here is a perfect example of a coin rarer than a 1894S 10S that has actually appeared LESS and is priced for a fraction of a %. How can you beat that? This coin is NOT CAC’d.
