5C 1896 PCGS MS66

Ever since we laid eyes on this coin years ago, we knew we had to own it. The wait was about 5 years-and it was well worth it. NEVER ever do you see these and never ever ever do you see these with gorgeous ORIGINAL colors!

This coin is the real deal. Not a 65 in a MS66 holder. Both sides are satiny, smooth, and are super clean. A surprisingly strong luster shows off gorgeous circular rainbow like colors of pale violet/pearl green/gold/sky blue and open into non toned centers. There are some tiny toning dots scattered about. Most important: Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck-you do NOT need a glass to see them. The eye appeal is incredible!

PCGS 8, NGC 4, CAC 3. There are NONE graded higher at ANY service. These have price histories of between $13,000.00-$19,000.00 over the past 5 years. In early 2010 a PCGS coin did sell in public auction for $9,775.00-but it was not anywhere as nice as this coin!

If you love color, buy rarer coins, or like MS Liberty Nickels, then this is one coin you really need to see! 20+ years of operations and neither PCGS or NGC have graded any MS67’s-that’s a powerful statement as to how these do NOT come!
