Do not let the pops fool you, these Wash lady design coins are rare and are highly sought after. This is an R-6 (21-30 minted). We believe this is the second finest known behind the piece in the Simpson Pattern Collection!
We grade this coin PR66+. There are NO imperfections anywhere. Both sides have super deep, crystal clear, and highly reflective mirrors. There is a beautiful mix of blue/lime/pearl green/gold/rose colors that swirl gorgeously on both sides. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck and have generous frost. The eye appeal is stunning!
PCGS 6, NGC 0, CAC 2. (we think we have resubmitted this seeking a PR67 once). Auction records show the last one sold was in 07/09 Heritage. The price realized was $16,100.00 (it was NOT this coin-this piece is nicer). In PR 65, the Judd book values these at 18,000.00. So you can sleep peacefully knowing you are not even close to being buried in this coin (something we would never allow to happen anyway)!
